Challenge
The ornamental stucco cornice had blackened with grime and split along the moulding, with old anti-pigeon wires strung across the run. Vertical cracks ran through the profile and would only widen if left open.

A cracked, soot-blackened ornamental cornice cleaned down, filled, made good and redecorated in cream.

We cleaned the cornice down, filled and made good the cracks, then redecorated the run in cream.
Outcome
The scrolled detail reads clean again and the profile is continuous.
