Facade Cleaning

ING Office Facade Cleaning

Glazing and stone reveals cleaned on a City frontage, worked from roof anchors so the pavement stayed open throughout.

Project context

Rope access from roof anchors, with no ground-level footprint and no pavement licence required.

Challenge

The office has a stone frontage with windows set within the masonry, awkward for pole-fed systems and out of reach from the pavement without a licence and a lane closure.

What was carried out

We rigged from the roof and worked a technician down the elevation, cleaning glazing and washing down the stone reveals on the descent. Cleaning only, with no work to the masonry itself.

Outcome

The elevation was cleaned with nothing staged on the footway of a busy City street, and the pavement stayed open throughout.
