Facade Cleaning

Hilton Garden Inn Facade Cleaning

Full-height glazing, panels and vertical fins cleaned on rope so nothing stood at the entrance of a working hotel.

Project context

Two technicians working from roof anchors.

Two rope access technicians cleaning the hotel tower elevation below the parapet signage

Challenge

The hotel's grey panel and glass elevations run the full height of the tower, with vertical fins between the glazing that cannot be reached from the ground. Ground-based access on a working hotel means machinery standing at the entrance for the duration of the clean.

What was carried out

We rigged from the roof and put two technicians on ropes, working down the elevation panel by panel and taking the corner returns on the same descent.

Outcome

Glazing, fins and panels were cleaned up to the parapet signage, with nothing set up at ground level and the hotel entrance clear throughout.
